Abstract
Reason: The article Phanguphangu M, Ramma L. High incidence of cisplatin-induced ototoxicity in paediatric patients in the Western Cape, South Africa. S. Afr. j. oncol. 2018;2(0), a41. https:// doi.org/10.4102/sajo.v2i0.41, published on 23 July 2018 in the SA Journal of Oncology has been retracted by agreement between the authors (Mukovhe Phanguphangu and Lebogang Ramma), University of Cape Town Office of Research Integrity and the journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Raymond P. Abratt, because of the likelihood that aspects of the article are invalid and could be misleading.
